Palmetto Kiwanis Club’s ‘Rib Burnoff’ Saturday

The Palmetto Kiwanis Club of Hilton Head will hold its annual “Rib Burnoff” this weekend.

The 20th Annual Rib Burnoff and Barbecue Fest is from 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on May 14, at Coastal Discovery Museum, 70 Honey Horn Drive, according to a news release.

The event will feature both professional and amateur cooks in competition. The event will also feature live music and children’s activities.

Beer, wine, soda, hot dogs and ice cream also will be available for purchase.

The Rib Burnoff is a rain or shine event.

Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the gate. Ages 11 and younger admitted free. Each ticket comes with seven samples of ribs and barbecue.
