Mindy’s Outtakes: Jekyll Island’s ‘Whiskey, Wine & Wildlife’ starts Friday

Jekyll Island will host a new spring culinary event highlighting specialty whiskies, food, wine and the wildlife of the area.

“Whiskey, Wine & Wildlife” is Friday through Sunday, at the Jekyll Island Beach Village.

A benefit for the Jekyll Island Foundation, the three-day event will feature unlimited tastings of whiskey, spirits, wine and beer and also will include food from award-winning chefs, live music, live and silent auctions and oceanfront views.

In addition, the event will offer master class pours, panel discussions and wildlife interactions.

Tickets range in price per event, or per two-day events, with some classes starting at $35 and an all-access weekend pass for $365. Tickets are available online.
