Hilton Head theater to show thriller 'Consumed' if enough tickets are reserved
A Hilton Head Island theater will show a new dramatic thriller about genetically engineered food if enough tickets are reserved online.
"Consumed" tells the story of a mother whose investigation into her son's mysterious illness leads her to the world of genetically modified foods.
The film will show at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 12 at Park Plaza Cinema if more than 60 tickets are reserved online by Sunday, according to a news release.
The film's screening is a crowd-sourcing project, the release stated.
