Red Cross to hold blood drives in Beaufort County

The American Red Cross will hold a series of blood drives for the month of December.

They will be from:

--10 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday at Hilton Head Honda, 161 Fording Island Road, Bluffton

--11 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday at Golis Family Jewelers, 1008 Fording Island Road, Bluffton

--10 a.m.-3 p.m. Dec. 22 at Hilton Head BMW, 1230 Fording Island Road, Bluffton

--9 a.m.-2 p.m. Dec. 24 at American Red Cross Palmetto Chapter, 59 Sheridan Park Circle,

Bluffton

--10 a.m.-2 p.m. Dec. 28 at Tanger Outlet Mall, 1414 Fording Island Road, Bluffton

--noon-5 p.m. Dec. 29 at Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce, 1 Chamber of Commerce Drive, Hilton Head Island

--9 a.m.-1 p.m. Dec. 31 at Hampton Regional Medical Center, 595 West Carolina Ave., Varnville

All blood types are needed, especially those with types AB, O, B negative and A negative.

Those who donate between Dec. 23 and Jan. 3 will get a long-sleeve Red Cross T-shirt while supplies last.
