Hilton Head Hospital to conduct free vascular screenings
Hilton Head Hospital will conduct free vascular screenings from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the hospital, at 25 Hospital Center Blvd., Hilton Head Island.
The screenings are for those ages 50 years or older with such cardiovascular risk factors as a history of hypertension, diabetes, smoking, high cholesterol or cardiovascular disease, according to a news release.
Other risk factors include obesity, lack of exercise and a family history of vascular disease.
Dr. David Kastl, a cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon with Hilton Head Hospital, will oversee the screenings.
Appointments are required and space is limited.
