Hilton Head organization to offer memory screenings

An area nonprofit organization will offer free memory screenings.

Memory Matters, at 117 William Hilton Parkway on Hilton Head Island, will offer the screenings Nov. 9-13.

An initiative of the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, the screenings take about 10 minutes and are not intended to be diagnosis. Results may suggest a followup with a physician for a full evaluation.

The screenings are by appointment only. To schedule, call 843-842-6688.
