Hilton Head Wine and Food Festival returns next week! What tickets are still available?

Get ready for lots of chardonnay, Hilton Head Island!

The annual Wine and Food Festival is returning to the spring calendar in 2022 after it was pushed to the fall last year amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The festival will be held from Sunday to Saturday, March 26.

The public wine tasting event — which as of 2 p.m. Friday had not been sold out for general admissions — will be held March 26 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Lowcountry Celebration Park on Hilton Head’s south end.

General admission tickets cost $65, according to the festival’s website. VIP tickets cost $125.

“There will be hundreds of wines, spirits and craft beers available for tasting from all over the world,” the website says.

The public tasting event is typically the largest and most casual part of the festival, which has been held for more than 30 years.

The grand tasting, which is the festival’s most exclusive event, will be held Friday, March 25, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Country Club of Hilton Head. The grand tasting’s $125 tickets have sold out.

The festival will hold its Stay Gold event, which focuses on double gold medal-winning wines, on Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Omni Hilton Head’s Shorehouse. Stay Gold’s $100 tickets also have sold out.
