Veterans Day is Thursday. Here’s when and where parades, special events are scheduled

After a year when the pandemic canceled so many events, local organizations have planned a Veterans Day full of parades and activities to celebrate past and current military service members.

Don’t forget, Veterans Day is also a federal and state holiday, so some places — including the U.S. Post Office and government offices — will be closed Thursday.
