Palmetto Plant Eaters Club to host expert on gut bacteria

The Palmetto Plant Eaters Club is hosting dietitian Felicia Spence as its guest speaker at its monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. June 7 at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Lowcountry, 110 Malphrus Road in Bluffton.

Spence will be discussing the nature of gut bacteria, how it impacts overall health and what to eat for best results.

The event is free and open to the public.
