Red Cross launches 24-hour Giving Day

The American Red Cross of Lowcountry SC is launching its third annual 24-hour Giving Day from midnight to 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, with a focus to #help1family and provide hope and urgent relief such as food and other essentials to people when they need it most — after a disaster.

Funds raised on Wednesday will go toward supporting families recovering from disasters such as home fires, tornadoes and floods. Giving Day donations can be made at www.redcross.org/givingday.
