Couldn’t make Bluffton parade? You can still see Budweiser Clydesdales

If you’re stuck at work or otherwise engaged when the Budweiser Clydesdales parade through Old Town Bluffton on March 15, don’t despair — there are other area opportunities to catch a glimpse of the world-famous horses.

The horses will arrive in Bluffton by 4 p.m. and the parade will begin at 5 p.m. along Calhoun Street.

The horses will also make an appearance around 10 a.m. March 17 in Savannah as part of the city’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

The parade begins on Abercorn Street near Forsyth Park and heads south to Bay Street before looping back north along Bull Street.

The Clydesdales will clop, clop toward the coast the following day, March 18, for Tybee Island’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

At around 4 p.m., the horses will be hitched the near Hotel Tybee on Strand Avenue. At 5 p.m. they will parade onto Butler Avenue.

During their stay in the Lowcountry, the Clydesdales will be housed in a stable at Southern Eagle Distributing, 1320 US Highway 80 West, Savannah.

The public can visit the horses there between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. March 14 through March 18.

On March 14, a full hitch of eight Clydesdales will be at the stable.

There will be at least one horse at the stable during the rest of the week, even while the parades are going on.
