Deep Well keeps widow cool in summer with new HVAC at reduced price, good loan terms
In the heat of the summer, the air conditioner went out in Gertrude's home.
The 75-year-old widow sought the help of Deep Well, which had a new central unit installed. Deep Well covered part of the cost, and gave Gertrude an interest-free loan to pay for the rest.
Deep Well provides a broad range of social services for poor working families, the disabled, the sick and the elderly.
