Bluffton Self Help helps family get daughter's asthma managed
Harold's young daughter spent a terrifying evening in the emergency room after a small coughing fit resulted in her gasping for air.
It turned out she had asthma, and she needed inhalers, anti-inflammatory medication and a nebulizer. Her father, who had no credit cards or savings, called Bluffton Self Help, which paid for the items his daughter needed.
Bluffton Self Help provides a broad range of social services for poor working families, the disabled, sick and elderly.
