Deep Well helps with mortgage after lost work, bills from medical emergency
Karen had a bad fall, and the injury to her elbow required surgery and physical therapy.
Because she had to miss work, she could not make the monthly mortgage payment on her small condo. After going through her savings, she called Deep Well.
The nonprofit agency paid that month's mortgage bill.
Deep Well provides a broad range of social services for poor working families, the disabled, the sick and the elderly.
