Woman quits job to care for father, Bluffton Self Help covers electric bill
Jenny's father had a stroke at a young age and needed full-time care while undergoing physical therapy.
The family could not afford a home nurse, so Jenny had to quit her full-time job to care for her father. She got a job working from home, but it didn't pay as well, and she could not afford the electric bill.
She came to Bluffton Self Help, which paid the bill.
Bluffton Self Help provides a broad range of social services for poor working families, the disabled, sick and elderly.
