Community contributions: Deep Well Project
Last spring, Deep Well got a call from the hospital social worker.
Cheryl was diagnosed with cancer and was homeless, even though she had a part-time job.
Deep Well put her in a motel for several weeks until she recovered from surgery, was able to work and had found a room to rent.
Deep Well provides a broad range of social services for poor working families, the disabled, the sick and the elderly.
