Chuck Brodsky will play May 13, at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Lowcountry, at 110 Malphrus Road in Bluffton.

A singer-songwriter in every sense of the words, Brodsky often uses wit and irony to tell stories of oddball and underdog characters for his sometimes haunting melodies.

The 2003 film “Radio” filmed in South Carolina featured a cameo appearance by Brodsky and his closing title track song by the same name.

The concert is at 7 p.m.; doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $15 with discounts for students and ages 12 and younger.

Tickets are available at the door.
