Lucas: Beaufort photographer featured at Thibault Gallery
David Shipper will be the featured artist of the month at the Thibault Gallery, 815 Bay St., Beaufort.
Shipper is a Beaufort photographer who focuses on landscapes and wildlife, particularly bird photography.
Shipper studied wildlife conservation at Louisiana Tech University and later studied professional photography through the New York Institute of Photography.
His work has been recognized in competitions and galleries from South Carolina to Arkansas.
Shipper will be on hand at the gallery for First Friday After Five. The event is from 5:30-8 p.m.
