Lucas: Rockapella makes a stop in Beaufort

One of the country’s leading contemporary a cappella acts will give a one-night performance in Beaufort next week.

Rockapella will take to the stage at the University of South Carolina Beaufort Center for the Arts at 7:30 p.m. March 31.

Rockapella achieved national fame in the early ‘90s when the group made an appearance on PBS’s “Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?”

Since then, the singers have gone to tour the globe, appear in commercials and release albums.

Tickets are $35 with discounts for students and seniors.

The center is at 805 Carteret Street, Beaufort.
