Lucas: Singer-songwriter Donavon Frankenreiter to perform on Hilton Head

Surf pro turned singer-songwriter Donavon Frankenreiter makes a one night appearance in the Lowcountry this weekend.

Frankenreiter, known for his straightforward songwriting style, takes the stage at the Rooftop Bar at Poseidon Sunday, for this 18 and over show.

A protege of fellow surfer-musician Jack Johnson, Frankenreiter’s music has been described as acoustic-smooth and “feel good.”

Tickets are $25.

Doors open at 6 p.m.; the show starts at 8 p.m.

The Rooftop Bar is at 38 Shelter Cove Lane.
