Lucas: May River Theatre holding auditions for ‘Young Frankenstein’

Those looking to perform in a side-splitting, fall-down laughing comedy are in luck.

May River Theatre will be taking on Mel Brooks’ “Young Frankenstein” for its first show in its 2016-2017 season.

Auditions will be held from 7-9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, at the May River Theatre, at 20 Bridge Street, Bluffton (in the Bluffton Town Hall).

The theater group is looking to fill roles for around eight to 10 actors and six to eight actresses.
