Lucas: Palmetto Quilt Guild’s 2016 festival to take place on Hilton Head
Quilting enthusiasts take note.
The Palmetto Quilt Guild will hold its 2016 quilt festival from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. today and Saturday and 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. Sunday, at the Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Resort Convention Center, 40 Folly Field Road, Hilton Head.
The festival will feature more than 150 quilts, a vendor mall, a handmade gift shop, consignment shop and a silent auction.
In addition, the event will include a raffle drawing for a queen-size quilt.
Admission to the event is $7; free for ages 13 and younger.
Proceeds from the festival will go toward the guild’s charitable programs.
