Lucas: Jean fans will have to wait another night to see ‘Idol’ hopeful
Bluffton’s Lee Jean was not on Wednesday night’s “American Idol” but only because the reality music competition had split the Top 24 group in half.
Twelve of the show’s semi-finalists performed on a Los Angeles stage on Wednesday night’s show as part of “Showcase No. 1.”
Jean, presumably, will appear Thursday night when the next 12 are scheduled to perform.
Last week, it was revealed that Jean, 16, had made it into the show’s Top 24 semi-finalists. The Bluffton High School junior has been making regular appearances on the show since its Hollywood Week began.
The show is scheduled to run through April 7.
“American Idol” airs from 8-9 p.m. on Wednesdays and 8-10 p.m. on Thursdays on Fox.
