Lucas: Beaufort soul singer and radio personality GwenYvette to release new single

Beaufort-based soul singer and radio personality GwenYvette will release her debut single "So In Love" on Feb. 9.

The song is the first installment from her forthcoming album "Dreams and Visions" due out later this year.

Originally from St. Helena Island, the singer had a run on the reality TV show "The X Factor" and qualified for the show's Hollywood Week. She also hosts a regular radio show "The Afternoon Glide with GwenYvette" on WKWQ 100.7 and has a funk and soul band called "T.C. Soul Playas."

The single will be available on iTunes, CD Baby or amazon.com.
