Lucas: Coastal Discovery Museum offers nature photography class

If you've ever longed to capture the natural world around you, a photography class coming up at The Coastal Discovery Museum may fit the bill.

Led by professional photographer Scott Moody, nature photography is 2-3:30 p.m. every other Thursday beginning Jan. 7.

Participants will explore the grounds of the museum at Honey Horn to learn about lighting, subject matter and composition.

The museum is at 70 Honey Horn Drive, Hilton Head.

The classes will run through Feb. 18.

The cost is $40, and reservations are required.
