Mindy's Outtakes: Spend an evening with Patti LaBelle in March

Grammy Award winning R&B singer Patti LaBelle will perform at the Johnny Mercer Theatre in Savannah in March.

"An Evening with Patti LaBelle" will be at 8 p.m. March 2, according to a news release.

LaBelle got her start in the early '60s as lead singer of the vocal group, Patti LaBelle and the Bluebelles.

Over the years, the soul singer and cookbook author has had a number of No. 1 albums and singles, including "New Attitude" and "On My Own," a duet with Michael McDonald.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. today.
