Mindy's Outtakes: Seinfeld, Haggard coming to Savannah in 2016

Two big-name acts will be coming to Savannah's Johnny Mercer Theatre in early 2016.

First up, comedian Jerry Seinfeld -- whose award-winning "show about nothing" ran for nine seasons on NBC -- will bring his signature stand-up routine to the theater in February.

Known for his observational humor and finding the hilarious in the mundane, Seinfeld has been touring nationally and internationally since leaving television.

The show is at 7 p.m. Feb. 11 at the theater, 301 W. Oglethorpe Ave., Savannah.

Then, country music legend Merle Haggard will take to the stage at 7:30 p.m. March 10.

Haggard, a Country Music Hall of Famer, is known for such hits as "Branded Man" and "Okie from Muskogee" among many others.
