Thomas Ravenel is a baby daddy after all

It's official. Thomas Ravenel and Kathryn C. Dennis are proud parents.

Bravo's TV blog "The Dish" broke the news Tuesday afternoon that the couple welcomed a baby girl, named Kensington Calhoun Ravenel, on March 24 in West Palm Beach, Fla. 

Ravenel, 51, and Dennis, 22, became a couple while starring on Bravo TV's reality show "Southern Charm," and remained together after the show wrapped last summer. 

Despite a pregnancy scare early in their relationship, the two decided to have a baby for real once the cameras stopped rolling, T-Rav told "The Dish." On the show, T-Rav talked of settling down and finding a wife, often mentioning that Kathryn could be The One. 

"She smiles a lot and there are little firsts there," T-Rav said of his baby girl. "She's got a combination of both our temperaments. But I think she's got Kathryn's eyes and my coloration."

He and Kathryn are unmarried, but T-Rav said the two have been talking about tying the knot. "Eventually I'd like to get married."

There were plenty of rumors floating around about Kathryn and a baby, but she and T-Rav were able to keep the news mostly a secret. T-Rav was especially tight-lipped while appearing on "Watch What Happens Live" with Andy Cohen last week, when Cohen asked him directly if he and Kathryn were still an item. "All I can say is stay tuned," T-Rav said. The former S.C. state treasurer, who went to prison on federal cocaine charges, also told Cohen that if Senator Lindsey Graham wins the Republican primary, he will run against him in the general election as an Independent. 

The season finale of "Southern Charm" is 10 p.m. Monday on Bravo.
