ArtPop billboards soon to be seen around the Lowcountry

The billboard is one of 10 being put up around the area as part of the council's public outdoor art project called ArtPop, which is a team effort between the council, Adams Outdoor and ArtPop founder Wendy Hickey. The mission of the ArtPop program is to promote local artists' work through available media space. The 10 selected pieces were created by artists residing in Beaufort, Jasper, Hampton and Colleton Counties, and were picked by seven judges. They are going to be put up in rotating billboard locations in the four-county area for the next year.
