May River Theatre to present ‘Little Women the Broadway Musical’

May River Theatre brings a classic story to its stage this summer with “Little Women the Broadway Musical” at the Ulmer Auditorium in Bluffton Town Hall.

Based on the classic novel by Louisa May Alcott, this musical version brings the beloved March family to life with book by Alan Knee, lyrics by Mindi Dickstein and Jason Howland’s musical score.

Michelle McElroy is the director, and Beth Corry is musical director. Jamal Edwards is the choreographer. Featured as the March sisters are Jean White, Lauren Cleland, Shannon Hegarty and Caylin Campis.

Showtimes are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays from July 21-23, July 28-30 and Aug. 4-6.
