BLUFFTON'S CRIBB TO SPEAK TO ATHLETIC CLUB
Bluffton High School football coach Ken Cribb will be the guest speaker for the Athletic Club of the Lowcountry's next meeting at 7 p.m., Oct. 10, at the Palmetto Electric building on U.S. 278 across from the USC Beaufort campus in Bluffton.
Guests are welcome for a $10 fee. For information on the meeting or joining the club, call 540-7159.

Hilton Head Island's Moses Reyes and Whit Edenfield, fighting for the RiptideMMA team, both won in their Mixed Martial Arts debut Sept. 23 in Myrtle Beach. Reyes (185 pounds) won with a knockout in 16 seconds courtesy of a right hook, while Edenfield (155 pounds) won by TKO at 2:30 of the first round in his bout.
The RiptideMMA team is scheduled to return to Myrtle Beach on Dec. 3 for more competition.
FINS HOST IMX SWIMMING SERIES
The Fins swim team recently hosted the IMX Ready and IMX Challenge meets at the Shell Hall pool in Bluffton, bringing in 60 swimmers to compete. Hilton Head Aquatics and the Columbia Hydrated Rogue teams participated in the unique events.
As opposed to regular swim meets, the IMX series is designed to have swimmers compete in multiple events, rather than specializing in one stroke. Swimmers earn individual power points.
