PRINCE WILLIAM CYCLE TOUR: What: 62-mile or 35-mile bicycle ride through the country roads of Prince William Parish; Where: Ride begins and ends at Buckfield Plantation in Yemassee; When: Oct. 22; Cost: $35 per rider before Oct. 1, $45 after; Notes: This is not a race. The 2nd annual ride is sponsored by the Yemassee Revitalization Corporation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to restore and beautify downtown Yemassee. Packet pick-up is 4-7 p.m. Oct. 21 or 6:30-7:30 am on day of ride. An after-ride lunch will be served on the grounds of the plantation. All riders must be at least 16 years of age.
