FIRECRACKER 5000: What: The 26th annual Hilton Head Firecracker 5000 Road Race and Family Fun Walk; When: 8 a.m., July 4; Where: The Mall at Shelter Cove, Hilton Head Island; Notes: The 5K course (3.1 miles) starts and finishes behind the Mall at Shelter Cove and takes participants through the roads around Shelter Cove Harbour.
