Hilton Head Prep 31, Calhoun Academy 14
Quarterback Charlie Wilmot had a strong game, and the defense stepped up in the absence of Austin Baker in Hilton Head Preparatory School's 31-14 win over Calhoun Academy on Friday.
Wilmot led the Dolphins (3-3) on offense, completing 16 passes for 145 yards and two touchdowns, while rushing for another 150 yards.
Teron Daley added 112 yards and two scores on the ground, while Logan Clark hit a big 38-yard field goal in the fourth quarter to make it a two-score game and give the Dolphins some breathing room.

"It was our best game of the year," Prep coach Kevin Wald said. "We had a great week of practice, and our team gave us all they had and were focused all week long. It was our most complete game."
Wald said the Dolphins were solid in every area and eliminated mistakes they made last week.
"When they cut (the lead) to 21-14, our kids didn't panic," Wald said. "We just made more plays. This will give us a shot to win some more games this year."
Despite allowing Calhoun Academy to move the ball well, the Dolphins defense didn't surrender a lot of points.
"At the end of the day, it's the score that matters," Wald said. "I thought they grew up a lot tonight."
