Katherine Rosenblum has been named the second cross country coach at yet-to-open May River High, joining new tennis coach Glenn Sheaffer to complete the roster for the Sharks’ first fall season.

Rosenblum will add coaching duties to her role as athletics director and music director at Cross Schools in Bluffton, where she helped train the Stingrays’ middle school runners. She replaces Brian Ryman, who came over from Bluffton High but soon returned as an assistant principal.

Sheaffer is one of Palmetto Dunes’ stable of tennis instructors, bringing more than 30 years of teaching experience to the role.

Athletics director Brett Macy still has two openings left to fill, though girls’ soccer and girls’ lacrosse won’t launch until the spring.
