Hilton Head Christian girls claim SCISAA 2-A golf title

Hilton Head Christian Academy won the SCISAA Class 2-A girls golf championship Oct. 19 on the General Hackler Course at Coastal Carolina University in Conway.

The Eagles, coached by Parker Collins, carded a  score of 379 to claim their first championship, defeating Ashley Hall of Charleston by one stroke.

The team was lead by medalist Anna Lesemann Eddy (76) and Jamie Hubbard (78). Eddy and Hubbard were named to the SCISAA 2-A All-State team.

The other members of the team that competed in the event golfers for Hilton Head Christian were Natalie Wade (113), Rebecca Hubbard (112) and Olivia Williams (119).
