Four players, including Colten Lavery, Trevor White, Justin Stubblefield, and Amit Kohli, earned Class AA all-Region IV honors this month, highlighting another strong spring for Dolphin sports. Lavery was named the region's Player of the Year. The Dolphins swept Spartanburg Day, 6-0, to win their second straight state title. The Dolphins finished 15-1, with coach Clint Van Aswegen earning Coach of the Year honors.
Boys golf standouts Walker Campbell and Karl Vilips were also named as all-region players.
Dolphin players also excelled during SCISA North-South All-Star games at Orangeburg Prep last Saturday.
Brooks Robinson earned the win on the mound for the South squad after pitching the 7th and striking out two batters. Bailey and Herman were part of the South team's 6-0 shutout win, with Bailey tallying an assist.
