2-Minute Drill with Bri Kelnhofer

The Thomas Heyward Academy softball team hasn't lost since its season-opener at Bluffton.

The Rebels are primed for another state championship run.

Among those leading the way is outfielder Bri Kelnhofer, a senior who signed this past November to play softball at Limestone. She was batting .437 entering last night's game against Cardinal Newman, with 15 RBIs, four doubles and 12 stolen bases.

With her college future secure, Kelnhofer's goal is to help the Rebels defend their SCISAA crown.

"We've come to the conclusion that we're the only team that can beat ourselves at this point," she said.

The Beaufort Gazette/Island Packet caught up with Kelnhofer this week for our 2-Minute Drill.
