Shutting out Warner Christian 13-0 on Thursday, the host Hilton Head Island High School baseball team wrapped up the championship at the Seahawk Baseball Invitational.
The title was the first for the Seahawks in their own tournament since 2003. They posted a perfect 4-0 record.
Against Warner Christian, Hilton Head High's Michael Haven went 2 for 3; Kevin Hickey had two hits, including a two-run double; and Cameron Stoltz homered for his first of the season.
Winning pitcher Andrew Cyr worked 4 1-3 innings in relief of starter Marlin Clark. Cyr earned his first mound win of the season.
Warner Christian, of South Daytona, Fla., completed tournament play winless in four games.
St. Francis DeSales (Ohio) finished 3-1 following a 2-0 win over Pigeon Forge (Tenn). on Thursday. Pigeon Forge wrapped up play 1-3.
The fourth visiting team, Northview (Ohio), posted a 2-2 tournament record.
Hilton Head High (16-3) travels to Berkeley on Monday in the first of three games next week.
