Porter-Gaud 5, Hilton Head Christian 4 (Thursday): With a tiebreaker victory at No. 3 doubles, the Cyclones avenged an earlier loss this season to the Eagles.
Ben Likins remained undefeated at No. 5 singles for Hilton Head Christian (5-3 overall, 3-3 SCISAA Region 3-AAA), which will be off until April 16, when it hosts Bluffton at Hilton Head Beach and Tennis.

Porter-Gaud 4, Hilton Head Prep 1 (Thursday): The Cyclones took a 3-0 lead by halftime and held off the Dolphins the rest of the way.
Halie Parker scored in the second half, off an assist from Hannah Parker, for the only goal for Hilton Head Prep (6-3 overall, 3-3 SCISAA Region 3-AAA).
The Dolphins play at Orangeburg Prep at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
TRACK AND FIELD
Hilton Head Christian: The first-year Eagles program competed in a pair of meets over the past week. Both the boys and girls finished third at Orangeburg Prep, while the boys took second at the 12-team Porter-Gaud meet.
Jamario Williams led the way for HHCA's boys, winning the 100, 200 and 400-meter events at both meets. Ben Gilman won the 1600 at Orangeburg (11:56), and Alex Martin won the 400 hurdles at Porter-Gaud (1:06.14).
Destiny Cook-Herndon (3200, 1600 and 800 runs) and Mary Hannah Lewis (3200, 1600 run and 400 hurdles) led HHCA's girls at both meets.
The Eagles return to action with a meet at Porter-Gaud on April 18.
