Prep Roundup, Sept. 4

Quad meet at Bluffton: Bluffton High School hosted a four-team dual swim meet Saturday, and it was the Bluffton boys and Hilton Head High girls who controlled the action. Bluffton's boys won 10 of 11 events in the meet -- which also included Beaufort High and Hilton Head Prep -- and the Hilton Head High girls did likewise.

Drew O'Brien, Andrew Faciszewski and Jake Minasi each won two individual races and were part of two winning relays for Bluffton's boys. Hilton Head High's Ryan Naddy was the only non-Bobcat to win an event, taking first in the 100-yard breaststroke.

Josie Cuda and Cassie Ley led the Hilton Head High girls with two individual and two relay wins. Bluffton's Ashleigh Pangilinan won the 100 freestyle to prevent a Seahawk sweep.

Laura Barras was Beaufort High's top performer, finishing second in the 100 breast and helping the 200 medley relay to second place. Hilton Head Prep's Josh Sulek was sixth in both the 50 and 100 free.
