Growing up as a military brat, Matt Bex became accustomed to making adjustments. He knows what it's like to be the new kid.
There's one place it's never affected him -- the football field.
Bex moved from city to city throughout his childhood, and he always made an immediate impact on the football team. His most recent stop, Hilton Head High, was no exception. In his first year with the Seahawks, Bex took over as the team's go-to ball carrier and led the team in rushing in 2010, his senior season.
Now he will try to do it all over again. Bex has agreed to play football at Methodist University, an NCAA Division III program, in the fall.

Bex said he expects to play running back, a position he's played since middle school, but is willing to try his hand at defense in college, as well.
