Hilton Head Prep golfer Godshalk signs to play at St. Joseph's

When Tim Godshalk moved from the Philadelphia area to Hilton Head Island, the transplant came with the benefit of living in the perfect place to hone his golf game.

Now that golf game is sending him back to Philly.

The Hilton Head Prep senior signed a national letter of intent this week to play college golf at St. Joseph's next season. He said he will receive both academic and athletic scholarships.

Godshalk has been a standout for the Dolphins throughout his high school career and earned team MVP honors in 2008. This season, he finished in the top 10 at the Panther Invitational in Summerville, helping Prep take second place.
