"With a good work ethic, we hope to be fairly competitive offensively, and our overall team speed is good. Filling the pitching rotation void is a need in the early part of the season. Competing for a region championship and hosting a playoff game is our team goal."

Ultimately, it will come down to how well, and how quickly, the younger players integrate themselves. If a few of our talented freshmen and sophomores step up, we can be a formidable team."
