Hilton Head Prep 8, Augusta Christian 0: Dolphins right-hander Patrick Andrews struck out 16 over six innings of no-hit ball, and Matt Layman went 2 for 4 with a triple and scored a run to lead Hilton Head Prep in the Colleton Prep tournament.
Andrews cruised through six innings, but he hit his 75-pitch limit, so Dolphins coach Nathan Stevens went to Riley King to finish the job.
"(Andrews) was sharp tonight," Stevens said. "It's early for hitters, but he was throwing three (pitches) for strikes."
