Highlander Duals: Bluffton High School won four matchups against just one loss to finish in third place in the tournament at Heathwood Hall in Columbia.

Bluffton knocked off Orangeburg-Wilkinson 63-17, Dreher 44-33 and Edisto 48-34 before Mitchell, N.C., handed the Bobcats a 42-29 setback.

Bluffton wrapped up the competion with a 49-21 victory against Mauldin.

Individually, four Bluffton wrestlers went undefeated. Levi Joly, Mike Meyerink and Jason Williams all went 5-0 in tournament competion, while Frank Ferrato posted a 3-0 record.

Joly, Meyerink and Ferrato are each freshmen, while Williams is a senior.

Bobcats earning four wins on the day were Lloyd Williams, Austin Farmer, Harry Chirinos and Manuel Lopez.

The Bobcats return to action with Wednesday's home match against rival Hilton Head High.

Dual meets at Beaufort High: The host Eagles went 4-0 in non-region duals Saturday, only receiving a challenge in one of them.

Beaufort High (20-6) defeated North Charleston 42-12, Wando 40-36, West Ashley 60-11 and James Island 78-0.

Seven Beaufort High wrestlers went 4-0 on the day: Clayton Wynn (130 pounds), E.J. Johnson (135), Zach Brown (152), Kenan Jackson (160), Clint Wright (171), Thyrik Legree (189) and Maliek Maldonado (215).

The Eagles return to their Region 8-AAAA schedule Monday, traveling to take on perennial powerhouse Fort Dorchester.
