When the Battery Creek High School wrestling team was done congratulating Josh Green on Monday night, the Dolphins started ribbing him.
It seems the junior has a habit of losing things -- shoes, knee pads, you name it.
But not wrestling matches.
Green won all three of his matches in Monday's quad match, including two that proved to be the clinching wins in the Dolphins' one-point victories over Stratford and host Beaufort High School.

"It just came to me today," Green said. "I had to do what I had to do at that moment, and I felt it all on me."
He didn't cave under the pressure.
With the Dolphins trailing by three heading to the final match against Stratford, Green held off Chad Johnson for a 6-5 decision that tied the match at 36, and Battery Creek was awarded a point based on tiebreaker criteria -- the Dolphins had five six-point wins to Stratford's four.
But Green's night wasn't done. His first-period pin of Jamie Ferreri clinched Battery Creek's 34-33 win over the rival Eagles, completing a comeback from a 25-point deficit.
"I told our kids before that match that we had to be patient, because they would probably build up a lead," Dolphins coach Kyle Kimrey said. "I knew if we did a good job of not giving up bonus points and not going to our backs, we would give ourselves a shot down the stretch, and that's what we did."
The Eagles won six of the first seven matches to build a 28-3 lead, but the momentum shifted in the 215-pound match, as Bear Childers pulled out a 6-3 decision over Maliek Maldonado. It was the first of five consecutive wins for the Dolphins, four of them by pin.
Beaufort High was penalized a point for unsportsmanlike conduct during that stretch, but it wouldn't have mattered. Even if the match ended in a tie, the Dolphins would have won on tiebreaker criteria by virtue of their four pins.
"I told the guys before the Battery Creek match that those guys were saying when we beat them over there at their duals it was a fluke, we got lucky ...," Beaufort High coach Bill DaMude said. "Maybe we did, because we didn't take care of business tonight."
The loss brought a bitter end to an otherwise bright night for the Eagles, who earlier beat Stratford 51-24 in a matchup of Class 4-A teams. DaMude was hoping for a big night to give him team some momentum going into Wednesday's Region 8-AAAA match at Summerville.
Now he's counting on the Eagles using something else to their benefit.
"We'll definitely have a chip on our shoulder and something to prove," DaMude said.
The Dolphins still have something else to prove, too. They head to Hilton Head High on Wednesday with the Region 7-AAA title on the line, and after Monday's victories, they think they're ready for the Seahawks.
"It gives us confidence and shows us that we can do the impossible," Green said. "Just like my dad preaches in the sermon, we are unstoppable. Anything we put our mind to, we can do it."
