Hilton Head Island's Nick Russell was one of 14 junior golfers to play for the International Junior Golf Tour's Team USA in it's win in the North America Cup, a three-day Ryder Cup style event held June 29 to July 3 at Weston Golf & Country Club in Toronto.
Russell went 1-0-2 in three matches, including a 4 and 2 defeat of Conaire Kehoe of the CJGA in the final day of singles matches.
Team USA's win in the North America Cup, hosted by the IJGT and Canadian Junior Golf Association, was its sixth consecutive victory on Canadian soil. It also marked the ninth victory for Team USA in the 11 years the event has been held.
