Led by Shannon Anderson and Avery Singleton, the USC Beaufort men's track and field team finished fourth at the Sun Conference Championships on Sunday and Monday in Daytona Beach, Fla.
Anderson punched his ticket to nationals by winning the triple jump, and he also picked up all-conference honors as part of the men's 4x100-meter relay team that finished third.
Singleton earned all-conference honors in three events, taking second in the high jump, third in the long jump and running a leg on the 4x100 relay.
"I worked Avery and Shannon to almost tears," USCB coach Larry Kimball said. "Between the two of them, they scored a lot of points."
