Abdul Carter Squashes Beef With Giants Teammate Jaxson Dart
New York Giants fans have been wringing their hands today over pass rusher Abdul Carter's post calling out QB Jaxson Dart for introducing President Donald Trump at a recent event. But after hours and hours of debating how this will affect the team, Carter has a new post on the "disagreement" with Dart.
Taking to X a short while ago, Carter announced that he and Dart have spoken and that they're "good" now. He then admonished people for coming up with "narratives" around the team.
"Me & JD6 are good! We spoke earlier as Men. Yall can keep yall narratives," Carter said.
Satisfied?
NFL fans were pretty unmoved by Carter's statement though, with many accusing him of being the one to cause friction in the team and blaming him for all of the discourse that's been going on today. Most advised that he should have spoken to Dart first before blasting him on social media.
"You forgot to speak as men before running to social media," one user on X remarked.
"You're the one who ran to Twitter to take a shot at him, Abdul. It wasn't someone else's narrative," another pointed out.
"Just call him straight off the bat next time instead heading right to twitter, plz," wrote a third.
"You blasted him on Twitter in front of 36 million people."
"Abdul Carter still hasn't deleted his original tweet. 'Y'all can keep y'all narratives' wasn't crated by the outside, but by Jaxson Dart first and Abdul Carter second.
Whether fans are satisfied with the message from Carter or not, it doesn't look like there's going to be the kind of frenzy over whether the team will be able to get along as they prepare for their first season under John Harbaugh.
